Since my youth, I received Biblical training through school, college and a Christian home. Though Christian influence surrounded me, I was not active in ministry until late high school. During my senior year in college, I dedicated my life to full-time ministry, specifically in the area of missions, and began to seek the Lord for His guidance. After graduating the summer of 2005, God lead me to be a part of the summer internship program in the Dominican Republic. Here, God opened my eyes to the ministry and vision that Team DR had for the Dominican people, the country, and the world. It was through prayer and God’s Word the Lord confirmed in my heart that the ministry in the Dominican was where He wanted me to serve.  In 2006, my husband Chad and I were married with plans to serve the Lord in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic with Daystar Baptist Mission, Inc.
